7:00 A non-judged poetry "slam" where all are invited to perform a cover of a poem written by a woman - or to listen to the performers and guess the poet. Sign-up to read at 6:45. For more information on the Peterborough slam, check out www.peterboroughpoetryslam.blogspot.com
Following the slam, will be performances by an all-woman cast of poets, musicians and filmmakers, including filmmaker/musician Sarah DeCarlo, Amei Kuda, and Lan Anh's brand new film on Peterborough's spoken word scene: Trespassing Poets.
$10 waged/$5 unwaged, or pay-as-much-as-you-can.
Funds raised will support the Native Youth Movement and Trent University Native Association.
