The new season of the monthly Peterborough Poetry Slam & Spoken Open Stage starts on Thursday September 18th at The Spill (414 George Street North).
Bring two poems to compete, volunteer to be an audience "judge," or just sit back, get a drink and enjoy.
Any style of poetry encouraged. Everyone welcome.
Sign-up at 7:30 p.m, slam at 8 p.m.
Featuring the Peterborough/London Spoken Word Team: Ziy, Elyse Maltin, Fraser and Beth Anne Fischer, as well as musical interludes by Babes for Breasts!
$5/PWYC, to raise funds for sending the team to the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word 2008 in Calgary.
